Outwork
Due to an uncertain market, we have found that many companies do not want to lumber themselves with large overheads and high numbers of production staff so we took the decision to offer an outworking service to cater for those companies.
We have invested in full testing facilities and, depending on the customer's requirements, can offer everything from labour only rates all the way to fully traceable outwork so you know when an item was assembled, when it was tested and who it was inspected by.
Over the years we have done outwork for larger organisations such as the Ministry of Defence and HSS all the way through to some of the smaller Construction Site companies.
We have found that on a number of jobs the budget is often not there to install new fittings. Occasionally, we have also found that the end user still really likes the fitting that was originally installed but the parts or replacement components are no longer available.
It is in these instances that we can offer our expertise to convert or repair fittings. This might be a straight forward conversion from Fluorescent to LED or it could be making up new parts of existing fittings to repair or modify them.
