The Coop in Italy is a nationwide chain of supermarkets which employs just shy of 8,000 workers. With 104 stores across Italy, they saw the benefit of upgrading their lighting to LED in order to capitalise on the economy offered by this new technology.

As a lot of what they sell is fresh produce we modified our Futura LED lowbay to provide high uniformity LED lighting but adhering to the strict regulations required in food areas using polycarbonate diffusers and ensuring an IP55 rating for the unit.
