Previously, the iconic sculpture The Navigator by David Kemp, was lit using traditional submersible PAR 38 coloured lamps. This led to a lot of maintenance due to short lamp life. The customer also wished to be able to colour change for particular annual celebrations such as red for St Valentine's Day or a colour sequence during Christmas.

In order to achieve this we use a DMX 5012 system in conjunction with Marine Grade Stainless Steel 18W LED Spotlights. Through the DMX system the customer had full control over the colour play of the fittings whilst reducing consumption and the need for maintenance.
